EUPIC

The EU Project Innovation Center (EPIC) was established in 2006 with the support of the European Commission's Asia Investment Program. It is currently the only project innovation center in China under the EU and serves as an international cooperation platform jointly supported by the governments of China and Europe. As a professional service organization and international project execution platform, EPIC aims to promote and facilitate comprehensive cooperation between China and Europe in technology, trade, culture, and investment.

The EU Project Innovation Center's Technology and Innovation Industry Platform focuses on incubating and innovating projects in the global ICT, digital economy, and smart hardware sectors. Against the backdrop of China's new infrastructure development, the platform collaborates with over 80 universities, research institutions, innovation centers, and incubators worldwide, centering on industries such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, 5G networks, blockchain, and big data. It provides international acceleration and incubation services to globally promising innovative enterprises, while also jointly establishing and executing projects such as international industrial parks, innovation centers, and international industrial events.

The EU Project Innovation Center's Pharmaceutical and Health Industry Platform aims to jointly support biomedical research and development for global health and well-being, collaborating with over 60 research institutions, universities, and colleges at home and abroad to promote long-term exchanges and cooperation in biomedical collaboration and communication between China, EU countries, and global partners. This includes facilitating international cooperation and development in biomedical technology, technology transfer, intellectual property protection, project incubation, investment, talent, and other fields.

The EU Project Innovation Center's Environmental Protection and Energy Industry Platform aims to support all-round cooperation between China and the EU in the fields of environment and energy. With strong support from bilateral ecological environment and water resources departments, the platform actively responds to the national call and provides comprehensive services for industries such as environmental protection, energy, petrochemicals, household appliances, aviation, and more. The platform has established a cooperation network with more than 100 industrial clusters, research institutions, and leading enterprises.

The EU Project Innovation Center's Agriculture Platform, with its base in Qingdao, focuses on Sino-European modern agricultural technology cooperation and exchange, technology transformation, and soft landing services. It introduces advanced European agricultural technologies, varieties, machinery, and products to China, accelerating the transformation of original European agricultural technologies and products into China. This platform provides a systematic service platform for the innovation-driven development of China's modern agriculture and for strategic cooperation and technology transfer in Sino-European modern agriculture.

The Exhibition Platform of the EU Project Innovation Center boasts resources from over 60 professional international exhibition alliances and member organizations, including the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), the European Exhibitions Industry Alliance (EEIA), Centrex International Exhibition Statistics Alliance, the Italian Exhibition and Trade Association (FIERA), Veronafiere, Messe München, NürnbergMesse, Messe Frankfurt, Hungarian Convention Center, the All-Russian Exhibition Center (VDNKh), Polish Exhibition Alliance, IFEMA - Feria de Madrid, and the Czech Republic Exhibition Alliance. It also has access to a database of 1.3 million enterprises across 17 industrial clusters in Europe and an international exhibition advisory team comprising more than 10 experts. Its primary business encompasses event planning and execution, conferences and forums, exhibition curation and organization, commercial activities, as well as attracting exhibitions and conferences for governments or institutions in need, connecting global exhibition resources. To date, it has hosted and executed hundreds of international conferences and events, covering industries such as the new economy, electronic information, digital media, culture and tourism, biopharmaceuticals, and 5G applications.

The EU Project Innovation Center's Education and Training Industry Platform aims to develop and promote comprehensive cooperation between China and the EU in the fields of education (especially vocational education), talent, and career development. The platform connects with over 500 universities, educational institutions, and government departments worldwide, providing comprehensive support for bilateral education and talent resource output, international education cooperation, and IP introduction between China and the EU.
